Request target

In BYOK mode, Convert, Polish, and Explain requests go to the compatible endpoint configured in the UnimeType app.

Request timing

The keyboard starts a network request only after the user chooses Convert, Polish, or Explain.

User control

The user can change or remove the endpoint and API key from the containing app. iOS replaces third-party keyboards in secure password fields.
